GENERAL INFORMATION

Our classroom programs are:

• Free to any school within Warren County
• Available for students from Kindergarten to High School
• Designed to meet and enrich state science standards
• Available in a wide range of conservation topics
• Ideal for around 30 participants;  adaptable for other group sizes
• Interactive, hands-on, and fun!
• Scheduling opens August 1st for the current school year

Warren Co SWCD works hard to align education programs with Ohio Science Standards, but we also know that sometimes content overlaps! If you are a teacher in a certain grade, you may see a program in another grade that you would like to schedule. Our educators can adjust the level at which a topic is presented up or down to fit your classroom needs.​ Don't see a program topic you need? We can create program content specific to your classroom goals. 

​SCHEDULING INFORMATION

​Please email or call our Education & Communications Specialist to schedule your program. Upon scheduling, please provide:

• your contact information 
• school/organization with address
• grade level & number of classes
• title of program you are requesting
• Date(s) requested
• detailed schedule with specific class times you want the program presented 
• special notes (if any)   ​ ​  

Keep in mind when scheduling:

• Each grade/class is limited to 1 to 2 programs per school year dependent on staff availability
• Scheduling is on a first come, first served basis and is limited based on availability
