About tucker "Speedy" Turtle

​Our newest team member is a male Woodland Box Turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina a.k.a. Eastern Box Turtle) of unknown age but vast experience. He joins us in his new role with Warren Co. SWCD from the Brukner Nature Center, where he was seized from an owner that did not have a native wildlife permit. You can check out some of his favorite  Education Connection blog articles to the right that will help you make the world a better place for turtles everywhere (and learn a little more about Tucker too!)
