Water Quality Monitoring
Warren County SWCD partners with Ohio Department of Natural Resources to monitor the water quality of the Little Miami River. We have been assigned River Mile 43.6 at the Fort Ancient Access adjacent to Morgan Canoe Livery on St. Rt. 350.  We participate in the Stream Quality Monitoring Program coordinated by ODNR Division of Watercraft.  You are welcome to come along on our monitoring trips or sign up to be a volunteer directly with ODNR!
Stream Clean Ups
Warren County SWCD cares about the health of our local streams! Occasionally, we organize stream clean-ups.  We work with scouting groups, volunteer groups or interested citizens to
form clean up efforts.
Tree Sale
Each year Warren County SWCD has a Tree Seedling sale in the spring. Volunteers help to package and prep tree seedlings, and prepare orders for pick up.

Outreach Assistance
Warren County SWCD is always looking for qualified volunteers who can assist in our public outreach programs.  Examples of Outreach Assistance are:

Staffing our water trailer at community events
Rain Barrel Workshops
Pond Clinics
Earth Day Events
Assistance at various community events
Storm Drain Tagging
Warren County SWCD works with area municipalities and townships to tag drains.  These drain tags educate the public about the path the stormwater takes from catch basins to our rivers and lakes. They serve to warn the public that pollution that enters our catch basins will find its way to our streams and lakes, affecting the wildlife and habitat that makes its home in these local waters.
