Supporting Agricultural ProducersIf you are a producer in the Caesar Creek Watershed, we're here to help identify conservation practices that could help your operation's bottom line, as well as secure funding to offset or cover the costs of implementing conservation projects on your land. While we cannot guarantee that implementation of practices will be covered, many may be covered 100% or cost shared at or better than NRCS cost share programs. Call us at (513) 695-1337 for more information.

developing 9-element plansThe Caesar Creek Lake Watershed sheds runoff from agricultural, urban, and rural land, and as this water runs over the landscape, pollutants are picked up and taken downstream. It's a process called nonpoint source pollution, and we're developing plans called "Nine-Element Nonpoint Source Implementation Strategy Plans" (9-element plans) to improve these pollution problems. These plans will allow local entities to effectively implement pollution remediation projects with funding from the Clean Water Act Section 319 and the H2Ohio program. gathering dataA team at Central State University led by Dr. Sakthi Kumaran is partnering with the Caesar Creek Collaborative on technical aspects of watershed investigation and data discovery. As part of the OEPA NPS-IS grants, the OEPA encouraged all grant recipients to utilize the Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework (ACPF) toolbox. The ACPF leverages high-resolution geo-spatial data to help scientists better understand areas and practices that might improve the soil and water health.
