RAin Garden Grant Program

*The 2022 grant cycle is now closed. The 2023 Grant Cycle will open in Summer 2023. Please contact our offices for more details & eligibility questions.
Warren Co SWCD will provides $10,000 grants to facilitate the installation of a rain garden on public lands in Warren County.  These rain gardens not only work to improve the water quality of Warren County but also serve as public engagement hot spots for water quality education!  Ohio faces multiple water challenges with nutrient pollution, sediment, and stormwater runoff pollution. Warren Co SWCD recognizes the vital importance of rain gardens in mitigating stormwater pollution, as well as providing ecological benefits like habitat for pollinators.

Municipalities, townships, public parks, or other non-profit entities that manage public lands are eligible to apply, and all proposed projects must be constructed on public lands within the project funding period to receive funding.
For more information or questions about grant eligibility, please contact Warren Co SWCD offices at (513) 695-1337, or email wcswcd@gmail.com.
