SCORING:
One point will be subtracted for each day the guess is off, and one point will be subtracted for each degree the guess is off. Example: If you guess August 11th with a high of 96 degrees F, and the actual hottest day turns out to be August 9th with a high of 94 degrees F, your composite score will be (–4).
The highest possible score is (0). Only one guess per individual (first guess) will apply.
In case of a tie, the guess closest to the day will win. If the score is still tied, a random drawing will be made from the tied competitors.
The official high temperature will be taken from temperatures recorded in Cincinnati by the National Weather Service.
